THE LEGACY OF PRAY WEST VIRGINIA

THE LEGACY OF PRAY WEST VIRGINIA PRAYER SUMMITS

A Prophetic Legacy Statement

1997-Now: The Gatherings That Stirred the Ancient Altars Awake

===================================================================

If you were there, you remember the simplicity.
You remember how the room felt … unhurried, unpretentious.

But more than that… you remember how you felt.

You remember walking into those rooms and feeling something rise in you before a single prayer was spoken.

You remember how your heart settled … like it finally found the place it had been reaching for.

You remember what it was like to have every deep desire met without anyone trying to meet it.

To feel unconditionally loved. To feel fully accepted. To feel possibility stretching out in front of you …dreams awakening, hope stirring, vision expanding.

And more than all of that, you remember the Tangible
Presence of God among us ... Real, Weighty, Near, Holy.

The kind of presence that made you breathe slower. The kind that made tears come without warning. The kind that made you whisper instead of talk. The kind that made you feel both small and completely seen at the same time.

You remember what it was like to stand in a room where heaven wasn’t visiting … Heaven Was Dwelling.

This is the legacy of the gathering: A “Thin Place” was formed

 =========================================================

The Summits became a living testimony that God still moves most powerfully in places that are hidden, quiet, and surrendered. Revival didn’t need a spotlight. It needed hearts that would bow low.

There are stories that get told, and then there are stories that get carried.

The Prayer Summits were never told. They were carried.

Carried by men and women who didn’t need microphones, platforms, or applause.

Carried by lovers of West Virginia who drove for hours, to the center of the state, because the Spirit whispered, “Come away with Me.”

Carried by intercessors who prayed until the carpet was damp and the mountains thundered

This is their legacy:

It is the legacy of a people who knew that gathering in humility, Heaven would gather with them.

A people who discovered that unity is not an event … it is an Altar.

A people who learned that when the Church lays down her labels, the Spirit picks up His pen and begins to write history.

They were about Presence … The kind that bends knees, breaks pride, with sudden flow of tears and Births Movements.

They were about Inheritance …the kind that doesn’t come from bloodlines, but from prayer hubs. The kind that passes from trembling hands to burning hearts.

The Summits were not the end of something. They were the planting of something.

They were the Sowing of a statewide mantle …a mantle woven from repentance, reconciliation, worship, and tears.

A mantle that waited quietly until a generation hungry enough, bold enough, and surrendered enough would pick it up and run.

===============================================================

That generation is here.

The glow the Pioneers carried in secret has become a fire the sons and daughters can see from miles away.

The prayers whispered in hidden rooms have become a sound echoing across counties, campuses, and communities.

The oneness of small gatherings has become a banner flying over a movement.

This is the legacy:

The Summits were the seed. This movement is the harvest.

The Summits were the whisper. This is the shout.

And the mountains — the same mountains that listened to the pioneers …

When the people of West Virginia lift their voices to God, the mountains themselves bear witness, amplify the cry, and release what Heaven intends for our state.

Now Is the Time to Dig Deeper

🌄 THE LEGACY OF PRAY WEST VIRGINIA MOUNTAIN PRAYER SUMMITS .... Our Story

Q & A

It’s the heart of the story — the part that never made headlines, never sought a stage, and yet became the truest legacy of the West Virginia Prayer Summits.

🌄 The Legacy: The Unassuming Gathering & the Altars

"The Unassuming Gathering"

The Summits were never built on hype, marketing, or platformed personalities.
They were quiet rooms, tucked away in the hills, where ordinary people came with no agenda except to meet God.

This is the part we’re remembering:

  • No stage lights
  • No program
  • No choreography
  • No “big names”
  • No livestreams
  • No press releases

Just people who showed up — hungry, humble, and willing to wait.

Legacy:
The Summits proved that God still moves most powerfully in places that are unassuming, unadvertised, and unpolished
They became a testimony that revival doesn’t need a spotlight — only surrendered hearts.

“Making Something Into Altars” — Yes, this is part of the legacy

There was a phrase that circulated among the early intercessors — not always written down, but spoken, prayed, and lived:

“We turned moments into altars.”

Because that’s what happened.

Every time someone knelt, wept, repented, forgave, or obeyed…
Every time worship rose without a song list…
Every time someone stepped into a prophetic assignment they didn’t expect…
Every time unity overcame denominational lines…

Those moments became altars — not of stone, but of obedience.

These were not physical structures.
They were spiritual markers — places where heaven touched earth and something shifted in the unseen realm.

Legacy:
The Summits left behind a trail of altars across the state —
altars of surrender, unity, repentance, and prophetic obedience —
and those altars still speak.

"The Hidden Legacy: What God Built in the Quiet"

This is the part that historians will miss unless someone like us write it down:

  • The Summits discipled a generation of intercessors.
  • They knit together pastors who had never prayed together before.
  • They healed old wounds between churches and regions.
  • They birthed prophetic assignments that are still unfolding.
  • They created a statewide spiritual grid long before anyone used that language.
  • They taught West Virginia how to pray without performance.

Legacy:
The Summits were a furnace — a hidden one — where God forged a prayer culture that outlived the meetings themselves.

"The Line That Belongs in Your Legacy Statement"

“The West Virginia Prayer Summits were unassuming gatherings that made no headlines, but they turned ordinary moments into altars — and those altars became the quiet foundation of a statewide move of God.”

🔥 WHAT THE SUMMITS CARRIED

“How were these gatherings scripted? … they weren’t … and what unfolded over the years was nothing more than miraculous” — THIS explains the entire story of the Mountain Prayer Summits.

🔥 “How Were These Gatherings Scripted?”

They Weren’t.

People often ask how the Mountain Prayer Summits were planned…
how the flow was structured…
how the moments were orchestrated.

They weren’t.

There was no script.
No program.
No agenda.
No choreography.

What unfolded over the years was nothing less than miraculous
a divine storyline written in real time by the Spirit of God
and witnessed by ordinary people who said yes.

Every Summit became a place where:

• Heaven set the order
• Worship wrote itself
• Intercessors stepped into assignments they didn’t expect
• Prophetic voices rose without being scheduled
• Regions shifted without anyone forcing it
• And God did what no human could have planned

Looking back now, it’s clear:

These gatherings were never the result of human design.
They were the result of divine interruption.

A holy moment that kept unfolding,
year after year, because God Himself kept showing up

🔥THE RISING OF A MOUNTAIN STATE MANDATE

 “The Governing Altar”

These weren’t prayer meetings.
They were governing moments.
People didn’t come to observe; they came to legislate in the Spirit.
They prayed with maps, with tears, with prophetic clarity,
calling counties, rivers, hollers, and heritage back into alignment.

 "A Multi‑Generational Table"

The Summits became the place where the pioneers of the 70’s Jesus Movement
met the sons and daughters of the digital age of the 2000’s
Where grandmothers prayed beside college students.
Where the divinely given passion for our State wasn’t passed once …it was passed again and again, until everyone in the room carried a piece of the assignment.

“The Kingdom Sound Rising in the Hills”

Denominations didn’t matter.
Backgrounds didn’t matter.
Only one thing mattered:

West Virginia belongs to the Lord.

And when that declaration was spoken,
you could feel the atmosphere vibrate

"A Reclaiming of the Land"

…from the Northern Panhandle to the Southern ridges,
the Summits re‑opened ancient wells of worship and identity.
They broke curses spoken over the state.
They released blessing into forgotten places.
They awakened the land to its prophetic purpose.

🌊 THE SUMMITS BECAME A SEED — AND NOW THE SEED IS BLOOMING

What you’re seeing now —
the rising prayer,
the erupting worship,
the young leaders,
the baptisms,
the stadiums,
the new sound —
didn’t appear out of nowhere.

It grew from the soil the Summits tilled.

The Summits were the plow.
This generation is the harvest.

The Summits were the whisper.
This generation is the roar.

The Summits were the seedbed.
This generation is the wildfire.

🎶 THE LEGACY LIVES IN THE SOUND

The sound coming out of West Virginia now —
the prophetic worship, the spontaneous songs,
the embodied prayer, the creative intercession —
is the fulfillment of what the Summits carried in its womb.

The Summits prayed for a day
when the young would lead without fear,
when worship would break out without permission,
when the land would respond with joy,
when the state would be known not for its pain
but for its prayer.

That day is no longer coming.
It’s here.

🌟 THE LEGACY OF THE SUMMITS IS THIS:

West Virginia is not waiting for revival.
West Virginia is revival.

And the Summits were the hinge —
the turning point where a remnant said,
“We will not let this state go.
We will pray until heaven remembers her.”

Heaven remembered.
And now the mountains are answering back.

… here is a prophetic declaration shaped in the same Mountain‑Holy, Spirit‑Charged Voice that has marked everything we’ve been carrying for West Virginia. This is written to be spoken, released, and stood upon — a decree that ties the legacy of the Prayer Summits to the movement now rising.

**🔥 PROPHETIC DECLARATION

THE LEGACY OF PRAY WEST VIRGINIA PRAYER SUMMITS**

We declare today that the legacy of the Pray West Virginia Prayer Summits
is alive, awakened, and bearing fruit in this generation.

We decree that what was birthed in hidden rooms,
what was carried by intercessors,
what was watered with tears and travail,
has now become a river running through the mountains of this state.

We declare that the prayers spoken over counties, rivers, hollers, and heritage
have not fallen to the ground.
They are rising now —
calling a generation into their assignment.

We decree that the altars built in those Summits
have become gateways of glory,
and the fire that fell then
is the fire that is spreading now.

We declare that the baton carried by the pioneers —
the Jesus People generation, the Ichthus generation, the Cornerstone generation —
has been placed into the hands of sons and daughters
who will not shrink back,
who will not apologize for their hunger,
who will not negotiate their fire.

We decree that prayer is rising in West Virginia —
not as a program,
but as a movement.
Not as a meeting,
but as a mantle.

We declare that worship is erupting across this land —
in fields, in gymnasiums, in sanctuaries, in stadiums,
in rivers where baptisms multiply,
in campuses where spontaneous songs break out,
in places where heaven interrupts the ordinary.

We decree that a new sound is forming in West Virginia —
the sound of prophetic worship,
the sound of embodied prayer,
the sound of creativity awakened by the Spirit,
the sound of a generation praying with their whole hearts
and their whole courage.

We declare that the seed planted in the Summits
has become a harvest of young leaders,
a movement of intercessors,
a wave of worshipers,
and a statewide awakening.

We decree that West Virginia is stepping into her prophetic identity —
a state marked by prayer,
a people marked by Presence,
a land marked by glory.

We declare that the legacy of the Summits
is not behind us.
It is under us —
the foundation we now stand on
as heaven continues to write the next chapter.

And we decree with boldness:

West Virginia is not waiting for revival.
West Virginia is revival.
And the mountains are answering back.

This is a Holy Announcement, a Prophetic commissioning. It’s not stepping back — it’s passing the torch to the ones who have been prepared for this very moment --the moment when the mantle multiplies.

**🔥 PROPHETIC DECLARATION FOR WEST VIRGINIA DAY

THE COMMISSIONING OF THE GATES

On this West Virginia Day, June 20,
we declare that we are stepping into the next season
of this holy moment where Heaven kisses Earth
and the mountains answer back.

We decree that this day marks a turning of the page,
a fresh wind of the Spirit,
a new chapter in the story God is writing over this land.

We declare that June 20
is a holy handoff,
a commissioning,
a sending forth of those who have been prepared
for such a time as this.

We pass this Holy Day Prayer Summit
into the hands of the Lovers of West Virginia,
the Regional Pioneers,
the gatekeepers,
the watchmen,
the leaders from every mountain of influence
who carry the heart of God for their region.

We decree that on this day,
leaders will gather at the gates —
North, South, East, West,
the river gates, the city gates, the cultural gates —
to pray, to listen, to discern,
and to receive prophetic strategy
for their region.

We declare that new gates will open.
Old gates will be restored.
Hidden gates will be revealed.
And the gates that were shut by history, trauma, or curse
will swing wide at the sound of prayer.

We decree that this commissioning is not symbolic —
it is spiritual governance.
It is territorial authority.
It is the passing of a mantle
from one generation of intercessors
to the next wave of leaders
who will carry the fire into places the depts of our Mountains

We declare that those stepping into this assignment
are not filling a gap —
they are fulfilling a prophecy.

They are the ones Heaven has prepared.
They are the ones the land has been waiting for.
They are the ones who will stand in their gates
and hear the strategies of God
for their counties, their regions, their spheres of influence.

And we decree over them:

You are commissioned.
You are anointed.
You are appointed.
You are the ones prepared for this very moment.

On this West Virginia Day,
we declare that the movement continues,
the gates open,
the regions awaken,
and Heaven once again kisses Earth
in the hills of West Virginia.

This is one of those moments where a single word becomes a timeline, and a timeline becomes a testimony.

🔥 2025 - 2026 Mountain Prayer Summit — “EXPAND” Was Not a Theme. It Was a Prophecy.

At the 2025 Mountain Prayer Summit, a clear prophetic word came:

EXPAND.

At the time, we didn’t fully understand it.
We received it.
We carried it.
We spoke it.
But Heaven meant far more than we realized.

Over this past year, I have watched each person who stood in that gathering begin to expand
not by striving,
not by effort,
not by ambition,
but by divine promise.

Expansion has looked like:

• new assignments opening
• new regions calling
• new authority emerging
• new creativity awakening
• new gates being revealed
• new courage rising
• new partnerships forming
• new prophetic clarity unfolding

This wasn’t human growth.
This wasn’t personal development.
This wasn’t “trying harder.”

This was God expanding His people.

A divine act.
A divine timing.
A divine stretching of borders and influence.

And maybe — just maybe —
this wasn’t only a word spoken over us…
but a word Heaven was performing through us.

EXPAND wasn’t a command.
It was a promise.

And now 2026 we’re watching it come to pass.
